Our Numbers course is designed to build confidence and fluency with key mathematical concepts that students encounter in real-world problem solving. Through clear explanations, guided examples, and engaging practice, learners develop a deeper understanding of how numbers work and how to apply them effectively.

The course includes three focused lessons. In Fractions of an Amount, students learn how to calculate fractions of quantities, breaking problems down into manageable steps and understanding the relationship between parts and wholes. Percentages of an Amount builds on this by exploring how percentages represent proportions out of 100, helping students confidently calculate increases, decreases, and everyday percentage values. Finally, Reverse Percentages challenges learners to think more critically, working backwards to find original values before a percentage change, an essential skill for real-life contexts such as finance and data interpretation.

Together, these lessons provide a strong foundation in numerical reasoning, equipping students with practical skills they can use both in the classroom and beyond.
